American Citizens don't even get this much time off from their jobs...NEITHER SHOULD THEY! Members of Congress should get the same Vacation and Sick Time that U.S. Citizens get. At the most, based on how long someone has been with a company, the normal American may get 3 to 4 weeks TOTAL vacation and 1 to 2 weeks sick time. Some don't even get 1 week vacation until they've worked the job for a year. THAT'S ALL THESE IDIOTS SHOULD BE GETTING PER YEAR AS WELL, should be based on length of terms served AND IT SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN TOGETHER AT THE EXACT SAME TIME! In other words, first time Rep or Senator, no vacation time until you've completed the first year of your term. After 2-years, if you're re-elected you get 2 weeks vacation time.And this 'recess' isn't supposed to begin until early October. Is is October yet?
